Bay Street Home Makeover

Updated: Oct 11

My oh my, was this a fun one. We took a diamond in the rough and made her shine. We fixed her up from head to toe. THREE offers and $225 Over Asking is just what she deserved. I'm thrilled!

HERE IS WHAT WE DID:

  • New paint (inside and out). The Sherwin Williams door color stole my heart

  • New rustic wood-look Luxury Vinyl Planking which is 100% waterproof and great for the beach

  • New kitchen appliances

  • New creamy color quartz counters

  • And oh that black and white tile! The initial inspiration for the tile was the inset in the fireplace which was just asking for some bling. From there we took it to the kitchen backsplash and into the shower niche

  • The single bath got a full gut job and was an amazing transformation- new everything

  • New lighting throughout the home except for the one drop down schoolhouse light that we painted from silver to black

  • To add value to the property, we did a packed DG parking pad next to the house to make for more parking

  • The retaining wall was re stuccoed and hand painted numbers from Belgium were added. Such a nice custom touch

  • To add extra curb appeal, we stenciled the stairs leading to the house in a black and white spanish tile as a peek-a-boo of what was to come inside

  • The stone patio in the back yard got leveled out and PARTY LIGHTS and posts were added. Party lights are sometimes everything

  • We revived the grass

  • The veggie box in the back was rebuilt and planted with tomatoes. Fun fact. I picked a few when destaging and put them in a caprese salad. They were great!

  • The house was staged inside and out!

  • P.S. No vintage moldings and hardware were harmed in the process. We saved those and they are beautiful

Here is the original mood board for the staging and some of the design elements. I wanted to make sure it all looked great together before committing to such a bold tile choice.
